My favorite Halloween experience was last year in 2007. I went trick-or-treating with my neighbor Alex Torrieri, my neighbor Ashley Starr, Ashley’s friend Summer Sigle, and Ashley’s other friend Gabriele West. I went trick-or-treating as Jean Shallot, an old movie critic from the 80's or the 90's either one. I really don’t know which one it was, maybe even earlier or later than one of those. Anyway, back to the point, Jean Shallot had an Afro, a big nose, bushy eyebrows, and he wore a big pair of glasses. I wore a suite with, a fake Afro, a fake big nose, fake bushy eyebrows, and a big pair of glasses. I think that I looked a lot like him.
I really enjoyed that Halloween, because one of my friends had a Halloween party and me and my other friends that were there did a lot of fun things there. Some of the things that we did were that we went on a "haunted" hay ride, we had this giant pinnata and it took like twenty tries to break it open, there had to be at least ten pounds of candy in it. We all dressed up in our costumes and tried to determine who had the best and weird costume too. I came in second mainly because none of the people at the party except for the adults knew who the heck Jean Shallot even was. All of the kids that were there got this bag of candy and this weird-o toy that I still can’t figure out what it even dose after I have had it for a little bit more than an entire year already. That party was really fun and I hope that I can go to another one. That was my favorite Halloween and why it was my favorite one.

My Favorite Fall Things

There are a couple of things that I like to do during the Fall. But my favorite one is to play basketball. I often end up playing basketball with my dad because he likes to play basketball as well. I usually always play basketball whenever I’m done with all my homework, and on the weekends, I usually play some time in the afternoon. When I play basketball, I usually feel glad because I know that it is something I can do freely and sometimes it helps me to become an overall better player. When I play basketball in my yard, I often practice my shooting techniques, jump shots, lay ups, dribbling skills, and hook shots. When I play with my dad, we often practice my blocking, rebounding, and passing.
Another thing that I really like to do in the Fall is to help my mom decorate for the Fall holidays. I enjoy doing this with my mom because I know she likes it when I help her and I like to make her happy by helping. We often do this on a weekend or when we have some spare time. When I help set things up for holidays in the Fall it makes me feel like I’m helping to do things for the family. We get the decorations from the basement and set them up inside the house and outside the house.
Lastly, I enjoy carving pumpkins with my parents and two older sisters, Jennifer and Rachel. We carve pumpkins every year a day or two before Halloween. Carving pumpkins with my family makes me feel fortunate to have a great family to do fun activities with. We like to go out to buy pumpkins, and use the Pumpkin Master stencil kits to make creative art carvings. These are three of my favorite things that I enjoy doing in the Fall.
